Announcing 2021

January 17, 2020

The 2021 organising team is excited to announce that Canberra has been selected to host 2021.

About Canberra

Nestled in pristine bushland, between Sydney and Melbourne, Canberra provides the perfect backdrop for LCA2021.

The city has grown rapidly since LCA was last held there in 2013, with a population of almost 400,000 people. The inner-city expansion has seen a large number of award-winning bars, restaurants, brewpubs, and cafes spring up. Canberra is home to the national museums, art galleries, memorials, and archives, offering a unique cultural experience for delegates to enjoy. Canberra also hosts a suite of markets, shopping, food, and wine to indulge and enjoy.

Beyond the city, you can see Australia’s native flora and fauna in their natural habitats. More than half of the Australian Capital Territory is protected with stunning waterfalls, rivers, lookouts, and snow-capped mountains for you to explore.
