January 25-29 2021
linux.conf.au 2021 is in Canberra, Australia’s capital city. Nestled in pristine bushland, between Sydney and Melbourne, Canberra provides the perfect backdrop for LCA2021.
The city has grown rapidly since LCA was last held there in 2013, with a population of almost 400,000 people. The inner-city expansion has seen a large number of award-winning bars, restaurants, brewpubs, and cafes spring up. Canberra is home to the national museums, art galleries, memorials, and archives, offering a unique cultural experience for delegates to enjoy. Canberra also hosts a suite of markets, shopping, food, and wine to indulge and enjoy.
Beyond the city, you can see Australia’s native flora and fauna in their natural habitats. More than half of the Australian Capital Territory is protected with stunning waterfalls, rivers, lookouts, and snow-capped mountains for you to explore.
Running since 1999, linux.conf.au is the largest linux and open source conference in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference provides deeply technical presentations from industry leaders and experts on a wide array of subjects relating to open source projects, data and open government and community engagement.
